Paths in Petersfield & Liss Temporarily Closed
Two paths have been temporarily closed for work to take place.
- In Petersfield, footpath 12 is being closed from 23rd February to 30th April 2026. An alternative route is available. Further details can be found here.
- In Liss, footpath 5 is being closed from 23rd February to 23rd August 2026. An alternative route is available. Further details can be found here.

This action is to prevent the likelihood of serious damage to the road surface.
Road to be Closed: Colemore and Priors Deane BOAT 22 & Newton Valence BOAT 30
Alternative Routes: Adjacent Public Highways Available
Period of Closure: From 01.05.2026 for a period of 6 months.

Add Footpath from FP26 to Wilsom Rd Alton: Inquiry Date 28th April 2026
Alton Ramblers are supporting the application for a footpath from Footpath 26, Neatham Down, to Wilsom Road, B3004 to avoid a dangerous crossing of the A31
The application is subject to a planning inquiry on Tuesday, 28th April 2026, at 10am at The Alton Maltings, where the decision will be made to lose or save the pathway. Our support for the planning application can be read here

Norton Farm Selborne permissive path
Selborne: It starts near to Norton Farm where Path 5 crosses the B3006 (SU 7392 3483)
The Permissive Path runs 250 metres South parallel with the B3006 to join path 6 that stops at the road (SU 7398 3456) It runs WSW to Nine Acres.
