UPDATE - Temporary Closure Part of Alton Footpath 42
Footpath 42 that runs along the railway behind the old brewery site is being closed for completion of some works.
- ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Part of Alton Footpath 42
- ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: See the map below.
- PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 05.07.2026 until 22.09.2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
If you use the footpath 42 to reach the station in the morning, allow extra time to take a diversion through Kings Pond and Waterside Court.
