Steps in Froyle - 18th & 25th March 2026
Another busy day for the Alton Ramblers footpath maintenance team. We missed the showers and finished the installation of steps and a handrail in Froyle that we started last week. What a wonderful view of Froyle Park from the steps!
Over the past month we've also cleared vegetation on paths in Alton, Farringdon and Froyle.

Two Bridges Built in Selborne - 4th March 2026
The day started off misty and turned into a beautiful sunny day for the Alton Ramblers Footpath Maintenance Team to build two bridges with support from Megan in Hampshire Countryside Services. The project was co-ordinated by Paul, who led two teams, one for bridge 205/154 on right of way 205/29/3 and another for bridge 205/149 on right of way 205/41/1. Many thanks to the epic team of Megan, Paul, Mark B, Matt, Graeme, Peter, Jim, Barry, Linda, Sue, Bill, Gordon and Bob.
